About Nora Mack
I love to sew, my mom taught me and I'll teach my children. Sewing is such a wonderful creative outlet. I get to work with beautiful fabrics and colors and create one of a kind, comfortable things for our children to grow up in. I've been sewing since I was 12, my best friend and I did it constantly. We starting getting good in high school where we outfitted most of our friends. I'm definitly inspired by the whole Grateful Dead scene. I was a bit young for it in the early 90's but managed to see 7 shows before Jerry left us. I loved everything about those shows and I'm truely thankful to have those memories and experiences. I was also a ballet dancer for 15 years so I have that girly side to me too!
I'm married to a wonderful man who supports my dream of a sewing business. He encourages me daily and works so hard so that I can stay home with our two precious children. We have Mack who is almost 4 and Nora, 18 months. I decided to call my "clothing line" Nora Mack because everything I do is for them. They are my greatest creations!!!!! We have purchased www.noramack.com and hope to have our web-site up and running by fall. I'm so excited, I have so many ideas and will finally have a home to showcase them.
Please contact me (kim@noramack.com) with any questions or comments and if you want anything custom made, I can do anything-----blankets, shopping cart covers, hats, dresses, pants, tops, back packs, sweatsirts, costumes (especially tutus!).
